They're still very young, so it's likely that their powers are still developing. While episode 5 of WandaVision doesn't show the boys harnessing these specific powers quite yet, it's clear they do have some kind of powers. The kids each developed their own superpowers as well - Billy could harness magic like his mother, and Tommy was a speedster like his late Uncle Pietro. Wanda and Vision really had powerful twins named Billy and Tommy in the comics.
This is an ode to the original versions of the boys. So it shouldn't be any surprise that the kids are super-powered themselves. Their organic arrival means that they are the sons of two beings with powers.
As Monica helped to deliver the babies, she has the first-hand experience to prove that Wanda's sons are very real. People and objects are not objects of hallucination caused by Wanda, as S.W.O.R.D. Once she's safely back on the outside of the hex, Monica confirms that everything inside Westview is real. This in mind, it appears they were passed down powers that are enough to cancel out those of their mother. They are born of two powerful Avengers created from the Mind Stone. But Billy and Tommy are something else entirely. Vision is an incredibly powerful being himself, which is likely why he has started to gain the ability to poke holes in Wanda's facade. The most glaring example of this is her lack of control of her twin sons, Billy and Tommy.Įpisode 5, "On a Very Special Episode." starts with the twins as cranky babies fighting sleep.
